OncoDB.Glycogene is an integrative database under the collection of discovered/not-yet-discovered glycosylation related genes (glycogenes) and the combination of public accessibled TCGA data to enpower the relationship between glycosylation and cancer development. Glycogenes with diverse list size disperse around various resources (e.g. GGDB, CFG, etc) and lack of update lately. Here we redefined and selected glycogenes via text-mining approach from various known human-curated resources to comprehensively cover fields of gene/protein family, pathway, phenotypic annotaiton. Above that, interactive user interface is designed to give either an overview of these glycogenes (total 3037 genes currently) from the aspect of pathway and disease or a detailed and multi-omics viewpoint of individual glycogene’s signature on 24 major cancer types.
Reminder:
To effectively find your glycogene of interest, you can either use search bar in the Glycogene search page to target specific gene or take advantage of enrichment results of more than 3000 glycogenes to relate the pathway/enrichment term to the gene of interest.
